Swatched & Reviewed: My First Indie Haul

Back in early January I bought a mystery polish bag from Adventures In Acetone‘s Blog Sale. Inside it was filled with a bunch of indie polish goodies, and other nail art items (stickers, studs, etc). Since it was my first ever haul of indie polishes, I thought I’d swatch and review them here to share.

Note: Since it has been awhile, some of the polishes might no longer be in stock on their creator’s website, but I will still link to the proper stores since these sellers have a lot of other great polishes for sale.

Nail’d It Unique Nail Polish – “Sugar Plum Dreams”
Store: etsy.com/shop/NailditUniquePolish (Price: Varies)

A beautiful light purple with pink and purple glitter pieces. Great coverage for 1-2 coats.

It does not look like Nail’d It Unique Polish has this shade in stock anymore. However keep an eye on her Facebook page and etsy store for new mixes.

Nail’d It Unique Nail Polish – “Spring Fling”
Store: etsy.com/shop/NailditUniquePolish (Price: Varies)

A beautiful white cream with randomly sized multi colored glitter. Great coverage for 1-2 coats.

It does not look like Nail’d It Unique Polish has this shade in stock anymore. However keep an eye on her Facebook page and etsy store for new mixes.

Glam Polish – “Frankenslime”
Store: glampolish.bigcartel.com (Price: Varies)

A creamy green with purple, blue, and green glitter in random sizes and cuts. Great coverage for 1-2 coats.

It does not look like Glam Polish has this shade in stock. I would still check out their online store, because they’ve got some awesome polishes that you don’t want to miss.

Maya Cosmetics – “Hyperbole”
Store: www.maya-cosmetics.com (Price: $6.50)

If you could wear a polish that screams “Birthday Party,” this would be it. A cobalt blue jelly with multi colored glitter just exudes fun. For complete coverage, 2-3 coats would best because of its jelly-like finish.

Maya Cosmetics – “Flyin’ Solo”
Store: www.maya-cosmetics.com (Price: $6.50)

I love black glitter toppers, and this is no exception. Layered over a dark base, the blue, purple and silver glitters really sparkle.

Maya Cosmetics – “Daydreaming”
Store: www.maya-cosmetics.com (Price: $9.50)

Probably my favorite in the bunch, Daydreaming is a beautiful sky blue cream with white, purple and blue glitter pieces. Coverage is awesome, and you can get away with only 1-2 coats.

SoFlaJo – “Blue Racer”
Store: www.soflajo.com (Price: $10)

Blue racer is a fun black duochrome that sparkles blue/purple in the light. The coverage is a little on the thin side, but after 2-3 coats, the polish really sparkles.

Venique Nail Lacquer – “Wrapped in Jewels”
Store: amazon.com (Price: Varies)

I absolutely love, love, love this shade of blue. Its finish is super glossy, and the color is brilliant in the light. The coverage is pretty amazing, and you shouldn’t need more than one coat.

The Venique Nail Lacquer brand is unique in that they only sell it in nail salons. However, I was able to find a limited amount of polishes on Amazon.
